WE WORK HARD TO EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS
BLC finishes started 31 years ago with a love of and a gift for refinishing furniture. My first job was with painting. I quickly moved on to refinishing all the 18th-century Italian Millwork carvings in the Sterling law building at Yale. I was always in business for myself – knowing that I could work hard enough to win projects and get the work done well. Then when I had my 3 daughters named Becca, Lillie and Clara, I named the company BLC finishes in their honor.
Our work stretches far. We are always yearning to try something new, to find the next challenge. We specialized in high-end finishes of all sorts and all sizes; From high-rises in Savannah to a single chair from New Haven Connecticut. From Charleston South Carolina to Harrah’s Casino in the Smoky Mountains, we will go anywhere for a challenge.
We enjoy the same customers we had when I originated the business. Our clients are loyal and continuously use us as partners. In fact a majority I consider friendships now.
Our references are endless because I live by the rule that you put the needs of others first. This goes for any family and my customers as well. We stop at nothing for perfection.
To see mill work come to life with color and sheen is an extraordinary feeling and as much a passion now as it is was when I first started in the Charlotte NC.
I’m known by most millworkers as the go-to on high level difficult projects. Word of mouth has sustained me for the past 30 years. My daughters are in college now and there is so much more I want to accomplish so many more projects I can make come to life. I look forward to helping you with your next project!
